Halloween Slime – UK recipe
We have been having a lovely relaxed family day today as we start half term. Seb wanted to make some Halloween slime – so I thought we would share it with you.
We still love our simple slime recipe and it literally takes 4 minutes to make. Seb has made a little video showing how it is done. Full instructions below.
Once it was turned out it was still a bit sticky so we kneaded it with a bit more contact lens solution and it all came together perfectly 🙂
How fab are these glass eyes – perfect for this spooky slime. #affiliate
OOOHHHHHH spooky!!
I have created a free printable of this recipe and instructions – or see below with links to purchase bits you need from amazon:

Ingredients:
1 cup of PVA glue
¼ cup of water
Food colour (gels work best)
1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda
Contact lens solution (with boric acid)
Method:
- Put the all the ingredients except for the contact lens solution into a bowl and mix well – until combined.
- Add a tablespoon of contact lens solution and mix well. It should start coming together.
- Add more contact lens solution if needed. Mix well. Keep going until the slime is not too sticky to touch.
- Turn out onto a smooth surface and knead for a few minutes. Then it should be ready.
We hope you have fun!
